About Me
I decided to follow my dream of studying law when I moved to Cyprus six years ago, however, previous to this, I had the privilege of working for two of Scotland’s largest construction companies, Ogilvie Construction and Robertson Construction. As a document controller I managed and controlled a number of project documents including drawings, Architect’s Instructions, Subcontractors Lists, login the daily drawings ingoing and outgoing and many more. I dealt directly with the site managers and surveyors for the drawings distributions. I worked as part of a team of 4 people but controlled documents for up to 8
projects individually. During my time at Ogilvie, especially my skills of document control had become excellent and attention to detail was extremely important. As Assistant Buyer at Robertson Construction, I
was given my own project to run. Here I had to source the best price materials, purchase and ensure delivery to site was made on time while still overlooking material enquiries for several other projects, attending meetings and day to day jobs and enquiries.
Fluent in English and Greek. I am enthusiastic to learn and acquire new skills. I am an exceptional team player, however I can work just as well individually. My communication skills are to a brilliant standard with relationship building being a top priority for me in order to create the best possible working environment. I am also currently studying for the Advanced CySec Examination.
In all my previous positions I managed demanding projects on my own with supervision from the leader. The challenge was to ensure all projects run without any problems, which was a huge task to undertake at a young age, however my supervisors had faith in me which gave me a drive to excel. Having had these experiences, I now have more drive than ever to succeed as a lawyer and make my mark in this world.
